COUNTRY THUNDER KEEPS SOUTHWEST AS AMBULANCE PROVIDER
(Florence, Arizona, April 9, 2007) Organizers for Country Thunder have again chosen Southwest Ambulance as its exclusive ambulance transportation provider for its four-day Country Music and Camping festival held April 12-15.
The four-day festival has been held annually at Canyon Moon Ranch in Florence, Arizona for the last 12 years. The festival features the biggest names in country music on multiple stages, and features unique arts and crafts vendors, and delicious eats for the tens-of-thousands of campers that make the event a yearly pilgrimage.
Here’s a look back at the number for Country Thunder 2006 (originally published in the Arizona Republic April 1, 2006).
· 100,000-plus attendees expected over four days. · 32,000 rolls of toilet paper. · 400-plus porta-potties. · 10,000 Johnsonville brats. · 8,000 pounds of hamburger. · 3,500 campsites. · 1,800 volunteers and staff. · 1,500 cases of water. · 150 arts and crafts vendors.
