GREEN VALLEY RENEWS CONTRACT WITH SOUTHWEST AMBULANCE; Partnership and Collaboration Between Agencies to Continue
(Green Valley, Ariz.) The Green Valley Fire District and Southwest Ambulance announced that they have signed a 3-year extension to their current contract with an additional three-year extension possible in March of 2010 for emergency medical transportation services. The contract, approved by a vote of fire district board, took effect by March 1, 2007.
The agreement continues a partnership between the Green Valley Fire District and Southwest Ambulance to provide ambulance transportation services to residents while allowing the district to have local control of patient care issues.
“Southwest and Green Valley Fire have built a trusted partnership to ensure district residents receive the very best patient care,” said Green Valley Fire District Chief Simon Davis. “We look forward to continuing our team oriented system of care.”
“This partnership allows our organizations to work as a seamless team for the benefit of the residents of Green Valley,” said Patrick Sullivan, Division General Manager of Pima County Operations for Southwest Ambulance. We’re very excited that we will continue to serve the needs of Green Valley for several years to come.”
