HOUSE MORE STRESSED THAN SENATE
Southwest Ambulance Checked Blood Pressures on the Capitol Lawn to Bring Attention to EMS Workers

(Phoenix, AZ)  For the fifth straight year, Southwest Ambulance checked blood pressures (BPs) of State lawmakers and staff on the Capitol lawn on April 10, 2007 to recognize Arizona EMS workers.  Southwest found that, for the fourth straight year, the House was more stressed than the Senate.  Please note that these numbers are not scientific, and the poll was taken solely for entertainment purposes.

“We’ve found a fun way to bring attention to EMS workers by discovering who is more stressed at the Capitol,” said Jeff Sargent, President of Southwest Ambulance.  “This event provides us an enjoyable opportunity to meet with our lawmakers allowing them to learn more about what we do for the community.”

Southwest’s KidZulance ambulance dedicated to kids and the Bariatric Unit for obese patients will also be on display.    For the fourth straight year, the House was more stressed than the Senate.

Results are as follows:

House Ave BP:  130/ 81
Number of Lawmaker and Staff Participants:  60

Senate Ave BP:  116/ 74
Number of Lawmaker and Staff Participants:  41
