For a child, the thought of being taken by an ambulance to a hospital is extremely scary. That's why Southwest Ambulance created the Kidzulance, an ambulance dedicated just to kids. The Kidzulance is a fully equipped, Advanced Life Support vehicle complete with stuffed animals, video games, a TV/VCR and other child friendly amenities to make the trip less stressful. The first of its kind in Arizona, Maricopa County has two Kidzulance ambulances, and two in Pima County.
