PEORIA RENEWS SOUTHWEST AMBULANCE CONTRACT AS EXCLUSIVE AMBULANCE PROVIDER AN ADDITIONAL 3-YEARS
(Peoria, Ariz. August 16, 2007) Southwest Ambulance announced today that it has been awarded a three-year contract renewal to continue as the exclusive emergency ambulance provider in Peoria, Arizona. The contract extension runs through August of 2010. “We are very pleased to continue our partnership with the Peoria Fire Department,” said Jeff Sargent, President of Southwest Ambulance. “The teamwork between the ambulance and fire crews is exemplary and we look forward to continuing to provide excellent patient care and customer service to the residents and visitors of Peoria.” Southwest Ambulance has been the sole provider of emergency ambulance services to the City of Peoria since 1990. On the Western border of Phoenix, Peoria encompasses more than 162 square miles with a population of nearly 136,000 residents. Southwest Ambulance provided more than 8500 patient transports in Peoria this past year.
