Pre-Scheduled Ambulance
ImageWhen most people think of "ambulance service" they think of flashing red lights and a life-threatening situation. But a large portion of our services includes pre-scheduled, non-emergency ambulance transportation of patients between hospitals and other healthcare facilities. This service is often called "interfacility" or "non-emergent."

Our one-stop approach for all medical transport needs allows hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities to call a single number in Southwest's Dispatch Coordination center to schedule ALS, BLS, RN or wheelchair/ stretcher vans.

Every request is professionally, and quickly handled by Southwest's friendly Customer Service Representatives in our Dispatch Coordination Center. To ensure a safe and efficient transport, we provide accurate arrival estimates and our drivers and attendants are polite, friendly and well groomed.

Types of Pre-Scheduled Transports Available:

ALS-Advanced Life Support care that requires a certified Paramedic to administer medical care.
BLS-Basic Life Support care that requires a certified Emergency Medical Technician to administer medical care.
RN-Required a certified, Registered Nurse to administer medical care.
